Landscape through Trees

A River of Stones:

Bee-banded ferns caught my eye,
And lifted it to see
The sun on green fields,

Mossy roots and Green Trees . . .

  1. Some lovely photos here, I love the one with the moss covered tree trunk with little ferns growing all over it.

  2. Oh, these are my sort of images and words, and such a delight. Thankyou for your kind comments on my Journaling blog. I am glad if they pleased you, for that is what I love to do, not just the creating, but the urge to move others forward. Do keep in touch. I have been a poor blogger these last few months; family circumstances. All the best, A xx

  3. These photos are gorgeous, BB.
They look like you have been in the mystical Avalon.
    So lovely.

  4. I agree with Rowan - those are my favorite as well. Lovely photos!

  5. The strange, wild forms of winter trees and moss covered roots are a source of delight to me as well. That moss is the most vivid, rich shade of green!

I enjoyed your image of the bee-banded ferns.

  6. Thank you for all your kind comments. I have been so inspired today, looking out my old Commonplace Book so that I can write my own "word pictures" in it to use in the Journal I want to make. Busy taking photographs of our river in spate, and the Towy flooding around Llandeilo and down the Towy valley. My artistic longings have come to the fore.
