It was a kit, so I can't claim any credit for such beautifully matching fabrics!Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-29725460677641427492018-03-19T07:10:32.618-07:002018-03-19T07:10:32.618-07:00I admired this several days ago and went to the li...I admired this several days ago and went to the lined site to enjoy it all over again--but I see I forgot to comment. The fabrics are very much to my taste--Moda, methinks. I agree that fewer buttons is better. I am impressed!<br />Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-92209412849600145502018-03-17T05:47:41.135-07:002018-03-17T05:47:41.135-07:00No energy to do ANYTHING today Tricia. I sewed together a few more blocks (in pairs) for the Random quilt, and now I just want to go back to bed, but need to wield my paintbrush so I will change into my painting clothes and jolly well get on with it.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-39697557078776529652018-03-17T04:29:56.482-07:002018-03-17T04:29:56.482-07:00Hi BB

We are buying a house that needs nothing doing it (famous last words?)! It has been simply but stylishly refurbished since 2012 by a couple of childless New Yorkers who are already onto their next project and after dragging an 18th century listed cottage into the 21st century in 2015/2016 I am more than happy about that. There are a few questionable paint colour decisions to paint over but the walls are completely sound and we’ll save the painting for the winter months giving us plenty of time to cogitate colours. My focus is going to be the garden. I have a chicken run to turn into a kitchen garden, a greenhouse to empty of wood and a blossom wood in the paddock to plan. Not to mention a copse to explore, a winter garden to mark out close to the house and a quince, an acer, a magnolia and four roses to turn out of their pots asap. I am fizzing with plans as you can probably tell. Sarah https://www.blogger.com/profile/14230327066600698804noreply@blogger.com
