When you think back to what we did to children all those years ago, it's terrible, and then I think with all the terrible stories recently we haven't improved much.<br />Have you had any luck with your house yet?SeagullSuziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15857680854262709165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-41831266162707016442014-10-08T02:39:11.454-07:002014-10-08T02:39:11.454-07:00Teeming with rain here, and I cleared all the runn...Teeming with rain here, and I cleared all the runner bean plants away yesterday. As for insect life, very, very large spiders trot merrily across the carpet now and then, and a humungus one in the bath tub last night....thelmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934860502828923562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-66729055987772478982014-10-08T01:52:18.319-07:002014-10-08T01:52:18.319-07:00That's odd because we loads of flies in our at...That's odd because we loads of flies in our attic at our last house. Some friends of ours have a cleaning business and told us they hoovered up bucketfulls from one house. Apparently they can live/breed on damp wood, although I'm sure we would have found it, had there been any in our previous house. I always wondered if one of those insect lamps, whose bulb attracts and blitzes them, might have been a good investment. I opened a window and it was like something out of a horror film as dozens of flies came into the room. Yuck. luckily when the windows were replaced they had no where to hide.Sue in Suffolkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13166036914348424622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-85878815751355655882014-10-07T11:24:12.605-07:002014-10-07T11:24:12.605-07:00I bet it'll be cloudy here too. I'm sorry I missed Vic Reeves; he's a bit of a hero of mine, so much so that I had a romantic dream about him once! I'll leave it there....talking of romance, damn you for introducing me to Jamie and co.
