Christchurch and Lake Tekapo

Rosie outside the Arts Centre I think it was, in Christchurch yesterday. She is a great ambassador for the city.

Now I am at Lake Takapo and I don't think I have been anywhere as beautiful in my life.

Nor have I seen such blue water.

Sarah - black and blue from pinching myself!!

  11. Thanks for the beautiful photos. I can remember being amazed at the colour of the water in the lake someone told me it was to do with the melt water from the snow on the mountains. I'll have to look it up to see if that is true. keep enjoying yourself. Shirley.

  12. Just looked it up the turquoise is caused by rock flour in the melt water which is suspended in the water. Shirley I love Google.
