A friend and I had a coach trip to Leeds castle once though. I bought a pot of Sneezewort and I am still trying to eradicate it!Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-78823918439466781062018-02-18T12:23:19.308-08:002018-02-18T12:23:19.308-08:00A lovely whiff of sea air, thank you. We”ve been snowdropping in Kent this morning and then onto Scotney Castle for a bowl of soup and a good walk. It’s felt quite springlike this weekend and to prove the case I found a pair of mating frogs in my pond this weekend. They stay pinned to the bottom for days! I should hate to live far from the sea. Herefordshire - should we ever get there - is land-locked and the nearest good seaside is down on the Gower. A long drive for a day out though.

Mind you, it's now looking like we won't be going so far (the Usk valley is favourite) as Tam is hoping she and her boyfriend will be relocating to Carms, so we don't want to be too far away.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569181568013465215.post-42389529229494057192018-02-18T10:30:19.943-08:002018-02-18T10:30:19.943-08:00Thanks Sue. I haven't had much opportunity to be near the sea--our several vacations years ago in the Canadian Maritimes are memorable--winding roads that followed the seacoast and the scent of spruce and wild roses ever present through open car windows.
