I survived the night

Thankyou for all your kind replies. I have managed to sleep but not as early as I needed to - having been awake since just gone 5 a.m. yesterday. Ward still busy at gone 11 pm last night.

I have Diverticulitis ( or is it Diverticulosis?) . Anyway, it caused a big problem and still on nil by mouth in case I need surgery.

I guess I will be here a few days. Many thanks to friend Pam who is feeding cats for me .

I shan't be doing the Fair this coming weekend, which is gutting - I could have done with a bit more income, and potentially lose my pitch fee too as cancelling inside the one month warning.

No visitors today as family working.

  1. Oh dear, I have only just caught up with yesterday's post. I am glad that you are being looked after and hope that things will soon be sorted for you. Hopefully your fee will be refunded due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. x

  2. Hope you don't need surgery so that you can get out and home quickly. Hospital staff are wonderful but hospitals are no good for a restful nights sleep.

  9. Ooooooooooh Bovey!!!!!!!!!!! Lord have mercy, girl! I'm so sorry you can't do the Fair this coming weekend but it sounds like you are exactly where you need to be. Get well soon, honey, and take good care of yourself. I hope you don't need surgery but if you do, may God guide the surgeon's hands. Diverticulitis is the inflammation & possible infection of the diverticulosis (pockets) you have in your colon. Prayers headed your way for complete recovery. Love, Andrea xoxo

  10. It sounds very painful, hopefully the hospital will sort it, and fingers crossed no surgery. Thank goodness for your friend Pam for feeding the cats. Miss Sheva is sitting on the top of her tower looking at me as I type this. Sending love and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Xx

  13. Hope you aren't in too much pain or discomfort now? Long day for you without visitors but not always possible, other patients often provide a distraction with friendly banter. Hope the staff are nice and you feel you are in the best place. Good luck for a speedy recovery Blods x

  14. Just looked up what you had which does not sound pleasant, I hope they get it sorted and you can go home soon. Being in hospital is not something you want as I found out. Just to let you know I did get round all the churches on the Clerics Trail
