Wordless Sunday - a trawl through the archives

  1. There's that comfy chair with the lovely red print upholstery. I've had paint chips spread on my lap [in the truck] and thinking that a soft country red might be in order for a wall and some soft furnishings in the cottage.

  2. Oh my goodness! What a treat! It's late and I'm tired, but I'm so glad that I had the chance to take that make believe stroll down those wonderful streets! I'd love to stop in The Garden Centre...and the antique shop...and the CD shop! All so enchanting! Thanks for the lovely visit!

  3. Well these were worth trolling for. I love seeing pictures of England. I forget how green it is and the row houses with front door steps on the street. And the Garden Centers -- I love them! There's one on the Isle of Anglesey we always visited when we went home. Now I'll go to bed and dream of England -- even though I'm very happy here. It is just like two different worlds and no matter which one I was in I would pine for the other.

  4. MM - our bedroom is currently being painted "Raspberry" . . . and we have a warm terracotta in the sitting room.

SH - I think you would have a ball in the shops here! The Garden Centre is in Brecon, and the first 6 photos are Hay-on-Wye (famous for its many wonderful bookshops).

    Chris J - glad you enjoyed. The grass is always greener isn't it ? . . .

  6. Lovely tour I just took thanks to you! There's so many places in Europe I'd like to one day visit ... all the old haunts of my great grandparents. I LOVE the pot to store your bread flour. Thanks for visiting my blog.
