Well Done BT lassie . . .

The phone line was sorted out today, a fortnight ahead of the planned repair. In fact, by a slip of a lass who was good up a ladder!  Thank heavens. So Danny was able to phone us from the airport to say goodbye before boarding for his flight to Oz and I was able to phone my best friend tonight and sort it all through in my head.

Normal service will now be resumed . . .

  2. So good to hear that your phone/internet has been restored ! Especially if you are having such bad weather.
Your son will so enjoy his year away. My children have been off and about since High School. Of course I worried but they all had fabulous times around he world. Have faith, not much more you can do.

How are you feeling ? better I hope.
    cheers, parsnip

Danny will be so excited tonight, up there above the clouds! Wishing him a safe journey and you a good night`s sleep.xx

  6. YAY !~! Let's hear it for lasses who know which end of the ladder goes against the house and which on the ground. I'm really happy for you getting service. I'm not sure how long I could survive without access while I am feeling well... Happy Travels to Danny; hope he has the most marvelous time.

  7. Thanks everyone. It was wonderful to hear his voice again when he phoned from the airport to say goodbye. He will be at his cousin's house in Perth now, there for about 10 days before he and Joe fly to the other side of Australia to get some work (he has friends there that he made when he was backpacking in Europe a couple of years ago.)
