Satisfied update on the Fair . . .

I'm relieved to say that today was a very different sort of selling day with LOTS of people through, as the weather was excellent.  In fact, it warmed up so much in the afternoon we wished we were in shorts!

So, it was worthwhile and we will do the next Fair there too.  Time to start hunting for some more tempting goodies!

This was the lucky shelf - 3 pieces sold off here! Sad to see the little bunny go as he had black eyes like boot buttons.

Off to relax in front of the Antiques Roadshow shortly.  I have a glass (or 2!) of wine waiting too.

  1. Thanks Sue. We had never done well there before, but had always just taken a one day pitch outside, which didn't work for us. This was much better - and it's a lovely venue, under glass . . .

    1. He was much admired. Dog statues always seem to get buyers, so there will be more.

  6. I suppose that is always the hazard in your trade- you see something you really love and buy it - then it is hard to part with it. I like that bunny too.

    1. Some things we do keep for a while if we really like them then "release" them again. Some things become "old friends" through no fault of their own. We have always upgraded our furniture in the house when we see something we really like - the carved coffer we bought last month being a case in point.
