A couple more "Finished" photos

This year's wreath - Ivy, as always, but combined with some russet beach leaves and two sprigs of Hazel catkins.

I finally finished Gabby's Pinwheel quilt yesterday teatime.  I hardly know what to do with myself now I've got both quilts finished.  I'll get back to my Random quilt in the New Year.

I probably won't get much opportunity to post tomorrow, so wishing all my friends and followers a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2019.

The wreath is lovely too. I know it is one of your family traditions to walk your lanes in search of greenery.
    Happy Christmas to you all.x

    1. Thanks DW. I started both quilts 3 yrs ago but they got abandoned half-done when life got in the way. We did enjoy our walk yesterday, secateurs in hand. Happy Christmas to you all too. xxx

  5. The wreath is a stunner, really beautiful - surpassed only by the quilt! You did it! I really enjoy these little glimpses of your house - so old and characterful - plenty of tales to be told, I imagine.
I hope you have the loveliest of Christmases, plus Health, Wealth & Happiness for the New Year.

    1. Glad you like it Elaine. We always enjoy making a Christmas wreath and the rain held off whilst we were out collecting bits for it. The house goes back to 1485 in written records, but bits of it are earlier than that.

All the best to you over the Christmas period and I look forward to your posts in 2019.

  6. The Christmas Wreath really is beautiful. Ashamed to say I buy one from a local florist shop although I do keep saying one year I will make one.

The quilt is gorgeous too - you are so talented :)

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
