Oh dear . . .

I seem to have mislaid a bat.  It was injured and couldn't fly, but was able to scoot around the carpet.  I turned my back a moment, and there it was gone.  Not difficult on a dark carpet and with a Coffer to scoot under.  I got a torch, but still can't see it.  Slippers are the order of the day then . . .

      I hope I do too - before Tam returns from her camping holiday. Have a horrid suspicion it may have scooted under HER door . . . The photo was someone's garden in Newport . . .

    My friend had the same problem with a bat. In fact she stepped on it. Thank heavens she had shoes on at the time. Hope you find it very soon.

      I've done that before. Fortunately it was well-dead and mummified!

    I've mislaid my glasses. And my handbag. And keys. But can't say I've ever mislaid a bat. Dodged one inside a building once. Prefer not to do that again. All I can say is...good luck finding your bat (and before Tam returns). :)
