And here's one HE made earlier!!!

I was feeling so hornswoggled with tiredness this morning, I had to go back to bed for half an hour. I had started the dough for a loaf, but knocked it back, popped it in the tin and asked my darling husband to "let it rise to the top of the tin and then in the oven for 30 mins." I think he must have turned his back because the wretched thing made a bid for freedom!!!

Some of the weekend's seed purchases which will be started off this morning.

  1. I love your description of the bread making a bid for freedom---it does look as though it was oozing it way toward the door.. a regular gingerbread man.
Packets of seeds--isn't it fun to browse and dream of the end results? Wish I could still garden for veggies.

  2. Oh how I love the promise of a packet of seeds.

Poor husband and his loaf. I do hope you ate it as I am sure it would taste good.

  3. I think that loaf was well on its way out of the tin before it hit the oven! I darsay that it would be tasty--pulled apart still warm and buttered.

  4. The photo of the loaf made me laugh:) Think your pear and ginger crumble was more of a success - it certainly looked and sounded delicious. Hope you are feeling better.
