We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful spot, but it WAS this river valley (even on the wet September day when we viewed our house) that confirmed it was the place to move. We had fallen in love with the house on paper, before even stepping inside. This was the deal-sealer . . .
Hi Jean, lovely to have a comment from someone new-to-me. The light was just perfect - HOW green was that grass on the field behind the bank? Give my son a wave, as you're in Oz and so is he at present (Melbourne).
The last of the leaves look like little jewels in the low sunlight. Beautiful! Jx
ReplyDeleteHi Jan. Yes they do. I think that the 20 minutes I spent talking with a neighbour got my falling-sun timing just right for light : )
ReplyDeleteAutumn at its absolute best BB - no need for words.

ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful. A bit like the landscape of our creek, but not nearly enough water for us -- yet !
