The Strawberry Bed and other tales . . .

Here's one for you Vicky!!

We had a lovely day out in Pembroke today and found this at Chapel Antiques.

Back tomorrow with lots more photos, and then there are dozens of the castle for another post or two.

  2. That's a really clever idea.... although I think I'd need a scaled down version for my little garden. Jx

  3. Wow .. how fantastic is that .! Looks just fab .. what to do with old bed ends that wont sell..!
I must admit we dont buy many beds simply because they are difficult to move on (unless of course they are realy nice/unusual ones) .. people seem to want kingsize and of course vintage/antique dont come in kingsize ...

I'm really thinking I might have a go at this .. goodness knows where I will put it though!

Glad you had a nice day .. it was sunshiny here and we had a good day selling.

    Vicky x

  4. Lovely but far too big for my garden, I might just get away with a dolls cot though!

  5. I used to have an old bedstead like this when I was growing up. I could hide my treasures in the unscrewable brass knobs, and if I tied a piece of string end to end, I could put a sheet over it and pretend I was camping in the jungle or something!

I think this was a really clever idea to make an old bedstead useful and provide a smile : )
