Part 2 WILL follow, honest

Sorry, I have got a tummy bug (I'm surprised you can't hear the gurgles and . . . other noises!)  I've managed a bit of gardening today, but only after I went back to bed for a while.

Hoping that things will be back on a more even keel tomorrow (and losing a couple of pounds weightwise wouldn't go amiss!!)

Our river, looking upstream, this morning.  I got my husband to stop the car (going into town) so I could take a few photos.  Doesn't it look beautiful?

  2. I missed their "best book" by a couple of weeks - when they look like an acid green filigree lace of leaves. It's beautiful down there though.

  3. Your river never fails in its beauty, especially with young beech leaves catching the sun.
Hope your bug soon goes on its way!

  4. It is a stunning river. I've included this photo to accompany the on-show brochure on our friend's stand at Hay Festival (though he's up the town).

Tummy still gurgling fit to burst and going out with Loperamide in my bag today!
