I had a restless night, woke at 3.45 and that was IT for sleep. I came downstairs, pottered about, but had to go back to bed later, accompanied by toe-killing kittens. Here are some photos from the walk Tam and I did on Saturday, a favourite one of ours. This is one of the broodmare band turned out up on the mynydd by Pant-y-Llyn lake.

A Walk around Pant-y-Llyn lake
I was lucky to catch this foal having a scratch.
The Section A stallion who could win prizes for that splendid mane and forelock!
Now I need to bake some Plum Muffins to use up plums - Keith always says they are too hard to eat - and then they go mouldy . . . My lawn man comes tonight, so as he's an elderly batchelor, I thought he might appreciate some to take home.
I made a cracking loaf of bread in the oven earlier, and also picked the flowers for Elderflower hand cream, which is now made up and in jars. It's brilliant when you get those painful cracks at the end of your fingers in winter. Enjoy the sunshine.
