The Garden in June - Part 1
A pretty double clematis (name tag long lost) on the front wall. Sadly, the slugs love it to bits.
The next door neighbour - don't know the name of this Clematis either!
My Albertine climber is just starting to flower.
Graham Thomas (David Austin rose) who needs treating for Black Spot already.
Evening sun on the Irises.
FINALLY, the paddock got cut. It was about 3 feet high with grass and dock and looked SUCH a mess.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles looking splendid (despite the wretched Black Spot).
First blooms on the Paul's Himalayan Musk - this one to the paddock side of the gate, where I planted a self-grown youngster some years back.
Right, it is bath time, and hopefully we will be able to watch something on tv before the Sky boxes collapses again. Looks like we are going to be going without Sky soon as we can't afford another box.
We finally are finished enough here to call out two Estate Agents next week. Both will only do sole agency, so they will have to fight it out between them as to who will offer the best deal . . .

Despite the black spot, something I have never come across, must be too cold up here, your flowers are amazing.
ReplyDeleteBlack Spot in roses, Rust in Hollyhocks and Canker in fruit trees - can't avoid any living in soggy Wales Jill!
Deleteyou've got it just right, and you're going to sell it?!
ReplyDeleteToo true! We are rattling around in it gz -7 bedrooms and a granny flat and just us "olds" now. The maintenance is getting too much for us now and the cost of running such a huge house too. Time for another family to settle here and hopefully be as happy as we have been.
DeleteLove those roses despite the black spot. All looking good for the Estate Agents - Good Luck
ReplyDeleteThe roses and clematis are just gorgeous. We were considering visiting David Austin roses tomorrow as there are gardens there but it looks like rain yet again :( Sunday when it is sunny they are closed :(
ReplyDeleteI wish you every success with the estate agents and selling.
