Squeaker . . .

This is our latest addition, who has been with us for a good few months now.  He has acquired the name Squeaker as he certainly does that at mealtimes . . . Here he is, looking angelic.

And just to show he needs the kindest cut of all (he is booked in for next Thursday) - this is him after a dust-up with Theo . . .  I have to say, he looks a bit peeved . . .

  1. He is lovely. I so wish we could have another but our last adoption was mown down by the loonie drivers. So we agreed no more. Sith cat continues to decimate the mouse population.

    1. I'm glad Sith is still with you and doesn't cross the road. When house-hunting, main roads are OUT - for the cats and for my asthma.

  3. I am down to one cat at the moment. At one time we kept our horses where Mama kitty had one litter after another and Tom was there too. I caught and tamed them all and had them spayed and neutered, Fortunately there was fund set up in our town (of Fort Bragg Northern California) to help with the cost. When we moved to a house with land we took the cats with us. There were 6 of them plus my own 6. Some lived in the outbuildings happily ever after. They are all gone now. Lots of great memories

    1. Gosh, 9 is the most we've ever had here. You did well by all those kittens up at the yard though. There is a local charity which will pay for Squeaker to be "done" too.

  4. How do they find us---some sort of message visible only to cats that here are gullible humans who will offer food and shelter.
Cleaned up, he's a presentable moggie boy!

    1. They seem to come here as if drawn by a giant cat-magnet Sharon!! I did try chasing him off, not feeding him etc, but he was determined (as was Sam, who just sat on the outside windowsill, glaring gin and saying I'm going NOWHERE lady!)

  5. The best animals are ones that adopt us. We had a kitten that kept coming to our house. She only lived 4 houses away. Our daughter cried and her Dad let her keep the cat. Miss Kitty was such a joy to have as part of our family for 18 years. Have a nice weekend!
