The Invisible Cat!

Here is Ghengis - who now feels brave enough to be Outside, even though there are other Big Bad Cats about (or Little Bad Cats,in the case of Squeaker).  He decided to try camouflage under the patio seat.  Not bad!

He decided that the long grass beside the old greenhouse was a Good Place to Be . . .

I could see him with the zoom on my camera of course!

Then he got it spot on!!  Or should that be stripe on in his case?!

Here, as a P.S.  are the Big Bad Cat (Sam) and the Little Bad Cat (Squeaker) earlier in the day .. .

  1. Beautiful cat. Our cat is big but skinny now and always been a wimp.

    1. He's a soft-striped tabby too - our other one, Theo, has stronger black markings.

Your outdoor cats would not last long where I live.

    1. Someone once called our home "cat heaven" - I think the cats would agree with them! Ghengis came as a stray tom and was SO full of testosterone and attitude. Now he is a Bagpuss! (Children's tv programme, with a stuffed stripey toy cat).

  4. Ghengis is lovely. I love how he knows to camouflage himself. Is he shy and timid or just standoffish? The other two don't really look so mean.

    1. He is a poppet. The minute I sit down, he is on my lap. He used to be very aggressive as a tom, but now he is like an old gentleman who relishes his slippers and his glass of port! The others actually all get on together now, though black Sam will sometimes go "BOO!" to see if anyone reacts!

  5. Ghengis, looks exactly like our Shania. Many is the time she hides in the yard and I can't find her. It is a good thing she comes when called.

    God bless.

    1. They appreciate the warm weather. I get hot very quickly (and cold very quickly) so soon get overwhelmed.

  7. Ghengis. So that's his name. He visits our garden in the middle of the night. I know it's a long way from Wales to Yourkshire but you can't deny it. We have the evidence on our night camera.

    1. You can easily miss him. Miffy and Squeaker show up a bit more being mostly white.
