The wallpaper I bought arrived today. I had promised it was going to go into the little ante-room between the bathroom and top hall. Then I held it up against the tiles and it was PERFECT. So . . .
I shall do the full reveal tomorrow, and offer up my confession . . .
It really does work color-wise. Very rich and mysterious.
ReplyDeleteYou wait until you see the bigger picture! It is very . . . colourful!
DeleteOh my, waiting to see the big reveal.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I've just got one more bit to cut to size and paste on. . . I had to stop at teatime yesterday as I was just exhausted and my aching hips (all the bending) have kept me awake half the night.
DeleteWow, your house is starting to look so gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the transformations and those bathroom tiles are a delight.xxx
All the time we were at Ynyswen I wasn't allowed wallpaper. Now I'm making up for lost time! The walls are squarer here :)
DeleteLooks a great match
ReplyDeleteThank you. Just what I thought. Too pretty to waste in the dark alcove.
DeleteLove it! Looking forward to the reveal.
ReplyDeleteHope you like the reveal. I know it may not be to everyone's taste but as I get older, I think I shall do things for ME to enjoy!
DeleteStunning, love both of your wallpapers, didn't know Dunhelm did wallpaper, must go have a look soon. Your doing a great job making the new house yours. Get indoors finished before the Spring weather comes then it will be gardening time. Rest up don't over go overdoing things.
ReplyDeleteThis colourful is Arthouse (gotten via Amazon). I was lucky - just looked and it IS washable! Dunelm have a good variety of wallpapers - some I like, some I think are yuk, but it all depends on taste doesn't it? Bad weather is for indoors jobs, and then I can concentrate on the garden when spring comes. Plenty to do out there.
DeleteI rested tonight - didn't even have the oomph to pick up a needle.
