When I was out in the yard earlier, I could hear a pathetic meow. A meow that announced its owner was STUCK somewhere. I thought of the scaffolding first of all, but couldn't see a cat anywhere. I called out, and the meow sounded to be coming from the bottom of the yard . . . I looked up to see Alfie (Wild Thing) up the tall oak tree - looking very comfortable on his bed of wilted ferns. He didn't look terrifically stuck, so I thought I would leave him for a bit and see if he managed to get down on his own. Less than five minutes later, I glanced across the kitchen and there was Alfie, having a wash and brush up on a chair . . . Stuck indeed . . .
This is for my daughter T, who was asking for more pics of the cats please . . .
I suspect Alfie has a great sense of the dramatics--cats are like that!
