New header photo (Rosebay Willowherb - aka Fireweed t'other side of the Pond) taken near a reservoir just outside Sheffield last summer. I am SICK of winter. More snow on the Brecon Beacons today, including snow on Black Mountain that wasn't obvious on Friday when we drove pat on the A40.
An early start and a busy day at a Fair today, and an even earlier start tomorrow. The reason for which will be revealed. Meanwhile, another summer photograph to cheer us all up.
Lovely header sweetheart..oh no not snow...we have have all had enough of winter ...we need a girly meet up I think xxx
ReplyDeleteYup. We need to set a date!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely cheerful header photo. Roll on Spring!
ReplyDeleteYour header photo is beautiful.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Gorgeous header photo - and it seems to have worked some magic . . . . it's cold, but we have blue skies and sunshine today. :) I'm longing for warmth and sunshine and pretty flowers and SUMMER - long, long summer.
ReplyDeleteLovely summer photos, I too have had enough of winter now! Please hurry up Spring, I want to feel warm sunshine and the dog is desperate to sunbathe! :) Have a nice week xx
ReplyDeleteWe are all so ready to walk along a lane bordered with a wildflower meadow! [And I say that even knowing that Kentucky winters don't have a patch on those of other years in New England and Wyoming.]
ReplyDeleteA few nights of poorer than usual sleep don't improve one's mood when the weather sulks for days on end.
Neither your life at the moment nor mine seems to allow us to draw the curtains on the storms outside and hunker down with books and sewing--we must put on our boots and brave the elements.
The path that leads to sunshine and warmth, love the photo....
