Wood sage in full flower.
Below - the bridleway walk we did a couple of days ago.
Quite pleased with this final photo. The river was ripping past at quite a speed after recent rain.
Update on Keith: We've just had the surgery on the phone again. He had a blood test yesterday and the result has come back showing he still has an infection, so he has to go back today and have another examination (and presumably more anti-biotics.) We're not too surprised as his head is still giving problems.
Nice walks to do from my computer chair. Hope another lot of antibiotics or something similar does the trick.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will mean more a/b's - Tam and I both think it's still most likely to be a sinus infection, so perhaps they will agree and target that.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying your computer walks with me
Lovely photos of your walk.
ReplyDeleteSo frustrating that Keith is still ill, I hope the next lot of treatment do the trick.
He's on steroids now, so fingers are x'd that they work.
DeleteThanks for keeping us updated, illness is such a pain ;) Envy your river, just for the sound of it.
ReplyDeleteThe river is a joy to walk by, especially in summer, but it can get Very Scary when it's really high and flooding.
DeleteWow! You have wonderful views so near to your home. How lucky you are! Love the shots of the river - you have captured the churning action so well! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteEllen D - we are so lucky to live where we do. The river is never the same, two days running.
DeleteThanks for the photos of the lovely vistas. Hope the next round of antibiotics gets rid of Keith's infection.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the photos Mary and we hope Keith is on the mend soon.
DeleteAnother great walk, a thrill to be able to come along with you. Hopefully Keith will have another course of antibiotics and feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to see where other bloggers walk. GP is trying steroids to reduce the inflammation, then if necessary, more a/b's.
DeleteSo sorry to hear Keith is still poorly and I do hope a second set of antibiotics get rid of the infection.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walks and photos. The Wood Sage is a lovely plant.
Thanks RR. We are wondering if he inhaled something nasty which has lodged in his sinuses as he was doing planing and woodworking prior to this kicking off.
DeleteWood Sage is so pretty.
Your photos show a landscape so ideal, perhaps heaven looks like that. I hope the antibiotics will give a cure.
ReplyDeleteHi Terra - it feels like heaven when we go on our walks. The scenery brings such joy.
DeleteWe are hoping Keith is mended SOON!
Beautiful walks! hope you husband gets the treatment he needs,
ReplyDeleteSince I m new to your blog, may I ask, who is Tam?
lizzy
Hi Lizzy D, and welcome. Tam is my eldest daughter (her sister is Gabby and brother Dan).
DeleteWonderful river picture, I could sit and watch their flow for hours. I am so sorry to hear that Keith is still unwell, I do hope it is nothing serious.
ReplyDeleteThe Doctor says it is an infection, as showing up in his blood test, and probably infected sinuses. The steroids seem to be helping though. Thank heavens.
DeleteEverything is so green and lush. You have a wonderful area to walk in.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Isn't it beautiful? VERY hot here today and even hotter tomorrow!
