Scenes from recent walks

I'm all behind like the donkey's tail.  Short walks have started again, so here are some scenes from recent ones.  Yesterday, Tam and I ESCAPED, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow for photos from that walk.  More words later - brain in neutral this morning.  First walk is just up to the top of our hill.

Wood sage in full flower.

Below - the bridleway walk we did a couple of days ago.

Quite pleased with this final photo.  The river was ripping past at quite a speed after recent rain.

Update on Keith:  We've just had the surgery on the phone again.  He had a blood test yesterday and the result has come back showing he still has an infection, so he has to go back today and have another examination (and presumably more anti-biotics.)  We're not too surprised as his head is still giving problems.

  1. Nice walks to do from my computer chair. Hope another lot of antibiotics or something similar does the trick.

  2. I'm sure it will mean more a/b's - Tam and I both think it's still most likely to be a sinus infection, so perhaps they will agree and target that.

Glad you are enjoying your computer walks with me

So frustrating that Keith is still ill, I hope the next lot of treatment do the trick.

    1. The river is a joy to walk by, especially in summer, but it can get Very Scary when it's really high and flooding.

    1. Ellen D - we are so lucky to live where we do. The river is never the same, two days running.

    1. It's always nice to see where other bloggers walk. GP is trying steroids to reduce the inflammation, then if necessary, more a/b's.

Beautiful walks and photos. The Wood Sage is a lovely plant.

    1. Thanks RR. We are wondering if he inhaled something nasty which has lodged in his sinuses as he was doing planing and woodworking prior to this kicking off.

      Wood Sage is so pretty.

  9. Your photos show a landscape so ideal, perhaps heaven looks like that. I hope the antibiotics will give a cure.

    1. The Doctor says it is an infection, as showing up in his blood test, and probably infected sinuses. The steroids seem to be helping though. Thank heavens.
