Photos from the Fair

On the left, a Hoopoe.  This is the bird I finally saw in Jordan, having waited a lifetime to see one.

The cutest little bed and tiny hexi quilt, on my friend M's stand.

An advertising horse I would think.

Part of the display of old carvings (15th C onwards) on friend P's stand.

Literally, a "step" ladder to get into a loft - probably a hay loft.  Love it.

This trader is from Bideford, where he has a shop specializing in treen.  Gorgeous things.

A fabulous little model of a shepherd's hut, all fitted out.  The child in me would love this.

Photos of my stand tomorrow.  I need to get sorted here - load Keith's militaria, the huge coopered Belgian or French jug which we have used as a stick stand for years, but really no longer need, and I have to go and get some lunch as it's expensive buying on the showground - something like £7.50 for a burger and £4 for a handful of chips.

Meanwhile, one to go on with.  Isn't this plaster maquette of the heavy horse absolutely fabulous?

Tam, Jon and Rosie are coming down to look round the Fair and help as necessary.
